RANGITOTO ISLAND.

SHOOTING OF DEER. The Rangitoto Island Domain Board met last evening, the chairman, Mr. E. Aidridge, presiding. Ihe caretaker reported persons were removing plants from the island, and he asked what authority he had to stop this, it was decided that the caretaker should be sworn in as a special constable Mr. H. Howes was appointed an honorary ranger on the island. Mr. 11.
