The management committee of the Auckland Rugby League met lost evening. Mr. G. Rhodes presided. An incident which led 'to blows being struck near the end of the Devonport-Pon-sonby game last Saturday prompted Mr. W. Davidson to ask if a member of the management committee had power to report cases of rough play. The chairman said such complaint could ' b» lodged, but the opinion of the referee j would have to be considered in any definite charge. Mr Davidson said this particular incident should not go by unnoticed and it was the League s business to deal with such players. Mr. C. Adamson said a similar incident had happened in a junior match and he was surprised to see the Referees' Association paa3 the matter by. In this case the players concerned were lucky that the referee did not deal with them more seriously. Mr. P. Barry said it was the duty of the League to put down rough play, which was uitogeiner too lrequent. A letter from the St. George Club, Sydney. stated that owing to the lateness of the season several of trie best players could not make the trip to Auckland, and consequently it had bean ahandoned. The letter was received. It was agreed, in the event of a draw in "the Roope Rooster final at the call of time, that five minutes' extra time be played each way.

GREYMOUTH. Wednesday. The Auckland Rugby League repreoentativee defeated a combined West Coast team by 42 points to 15. in t match played at Greymouth to-day. under good conditions. A fine exhibition of team work was given by the winners, the hicks and forwards combining at every opportunity. The defective home tackling served to augment the winners' score. The outstanding visitors were Prentice, Wetherill. Wilson, O'Brien and Summers. The best local players were Goodall, Grif' fiths and Davis. Tries were scored for Auckland by Little ;3), Wilson (3), Wetherill (2), Dufty, Payne, Bass and List. Wileon converted two and Dufty one. For the losers Goodall scored twice and Griffiths once, McElwee converting each try.
