TO-DAY'S WEATHER. # ' HERALD'S SPEC.'AL FORECAST. Tho following weather forecast for 24 hours from 7 a.m. to-day was supplied to us by Mr. H. M. Vincent last evening:— Unsettled and showery weather is indicated; particularly in districts bordering on the West Coast; but a general improvement :n conditions is expected shortly, fine weather following. Winds variable, southerly to south-easterly prevailing. Seas moderate. Barometric pressure,, which has been moderately low over -the Dominion during the last few days, will increase generally, as a system of high atmospheric conditions is approaching from the west. There is a prospect of fine weather prevailing for about 36 hours. The disturbance of combined tropical and Antarctic influences is now passing eastward. Barometer, midnight, steady .. 29.801n.
