ITEMS OF INTEREST. Mr. Eric Waters' instrumental trio will broadcast for the first time from the Auckland station this evening. In addition to Mr. Waters, who is a fine pianist, the trio comprises Miss Margaret Stoddart, violinist, and Miss Lalla Hemus, 'cellist. The trio will play at 8.49 and at 9.50 p.m. There is every promise of an excellent entertainment from the Wellington station this evening. There will he a relay of orchestral music from the Paramount Theatre at eight o'clock and again at nine o'clock, while the Central Mission Band will render a number of items during the evening. Interspersed will be vocal and instrumental items by leading artists. Mr. W. King will continue his series of interesting talks on' " Esperanto " from the Wellington station at 7.34 this evening. Of interest to farmers should be an address on " Top-dressing of Pastures in Canterbury," to be broadcast from the Christchurch station at 7.30 this evening The speaker will be Mr. A. W. Hudson, and the talk is being arranged under the auspices of the Canterbury Progress League. The programme ta be sent out by the Dunedin station this evening will bo devoted to the band of the First Battalion Otago Regiment. The band will play: March, "Stars antf Stripes" (fiousa); overture, " Zampa " (Herold); waltz, " Gold and Silver " (Strauss); <~ornef duet. "Two Little Finches selection, "Faust" (Gounod); selection ' Musical Switch " (Alford): Highland "ifrol. In view of the political situation in New South Wales an address by the Hon. T. R. Bavin, Leader of the Opposition, to be relayed by the Sydney station, 2FC, this evening, should bo of more than passing interest to New Zealand people. The address is timed to commence at 9.30, ' New Zealand time, continuing until about 11.30. TO-MORROW'S FEATURES.
