BRITISH FISHERIES.
VALUE OF FACTORY SHIPS. SUGGESTION TO NEW ZEALAND. A. and N.Z.-Sun. LONDON. Aug. 30. The Imperial Economic Committee in its report on British fisheries suggests that factory ships should accompany the fishing fleets in order to treat the fish immediately they arc caught. It suggests that such ships might be used in the valuable fishing grounds off Australia and New Zealand, which hitherto have, it says, been only partially; worked.
