COMPENSATION FOR LAND.
AREA FOR HARBOUR WORKS. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION. J (xISBORNE. Saturday The Compensation Court has awarded George Lawless £11,426 in satisfaction of his claim against the Gisborne Harbour Board for compensation for land taken for harbour purposes. The sum claimed was £28,415. Mr Justice Ostler announced that the Court's decision was unanimous Each party would pay its own costs.
