WEDDINGS.

A wedding of considerable interest took place at St. Matthew's Church, Helensville, on Wednesday evening, when Miss Hazel Eunice Keane, second daughter of Mrs. Keane. of Hinemoa House, Helensville, was married to Mr. James Pengelly, sixth son of Mr. R. Pengelly, of Woodhill. The Rev. T. H. C. Partridge officiated The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr< J. Keane, wore a frock of champagne georgette, trimmed with cream lace and relieved with jade colouring. The veil wjis of cream lace with a coronet of orange blossoms and silver flowers, and she carried a shower bouquet. There were two bridesmaids Miss Marjoric Simcock and Miss Thelma Curnow. Miss Simcock was in jade georgette with silver trimmings and veil to match, and Miss Curnow was in coral pink and silver with veil to match. Both carried shower bouquets. Mi Cyri! Pengelly, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and Mr. Charles William Keane, groomsman. The marriage was celebrated on Saturday, in the Presbyterian Church, Raetilu.'of Miss Nancy Pedersen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Pederseh, of Raetihi, to Mr. Ralph Fissenden, son of Mrs. Hadlev and the late Mr. W. Fissenden, of Raetihi. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. Heard The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dress of white satin beaute, trimmed with pjnk rosebuds and white silk lace, with a veil and coronet of orange blossoms, and carried a bouquet of freesias and pink stocks. The bride was attended by Miss B. Kelly, as bridesmaid, who was frocked in lavender taffeta, trimmed with lavender lace, and wore a crinoline hat with lavender flowers. She carried a bouquet of freesias and lavender-coloured anemones. The flower bearers were Misses Dela and Dot Pedersen, who wore pink taffeta ,and bandeaux of silver lace, and Miss* Moire Leydon, who was dressed in turquoise blue crepe de chine, with white satin bonnet. She' carried a bouquet of pink anemones. Mr. C. Lynch acted as best man. \
