MATCHES IN AUCKLAND. CARLTON HOLDS EDWIN STARS. The majority of the bowiiug clubs took advantage of the line weather conditions on Saturday and club competitions were continued. At Ellersiie three rounds of au open tournament were played. The tournament will be concluded next Saturday. Carlton had no difficulty in staving off a challenge for the Edwin Stars by Stanley Bay.
