NOISY MOTOR-CYCLES.

"ABOMINABLE NUISANCE." "Isn't it about time something was done to put an end to the abominable nuisance of noisy motor-cycles ?" asked Mr. R. Semple at a meeting of the Wellington City Council last week. Not only was the noise a real nuisance to everyone, but it was really harmful to people who were ill. "I have no objection to a motor-cycle a 9 a motor-cycle," said Mr. Semple, "but I have a very positive objection to the noise. It's only flashness on the part of the road hogs and it is time the council did something about it," The Mayor said he fully agreed that it was time something was done, for complaints were received from all parts of the city. He said he would draw the attention of the traffic officer to the matter and would see that something was done.
