PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN.—Notice is hereby given that the Waitemata Electric Power Board proposes at its meeting to be held on September 5, 1927, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of .£BO,OOO (eighty thousands pounds), for the purpose of purchasing and constructing electric works as defined in the Electric Power Boards Act, 1925. in order to supply and to extend the supply of electricity within the Waitemata Electric Power District, and for providing funds for the purposes mentioned under Section 118 of the said Act. (Section 118 authorises the Board to install electric wires, lamps, and other fittings and enuipment. and to accept pay ment therefor by instalments). _ • Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Waitemata Electric Power Board not later than SATURDAY third day of September. 1927.
