STRANDED RIVERINA.
-SALVAGE HOPES BRIGHTER. VESSEL ALMOST AFLOAT AGAIN. V A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. Aug. 19. ( According to private messages received ' in Sydney to-day there is every prospect ' of the steamer Riverina, which is ashore lon Gabo Island, being refloated at an early date. The vessel is gradually moving from i her bed in the sand. The position of her head has altered 18 degrees seaward arid she is almost afloat.
