CRUSHED BENEATH CAR.

WOMAN MOTORIST'S FATE. VEHICLE FALLS FIFTY FEET. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TAIHAPE. Friday A motoring accident resulting in the death of Mrs. John Ennis, aged 46, the wife of a well-known soldier settler, occurred yesterday at Braemore, near Hunterville. The accident was caused through the car containing Mrs. Ennis and her husband getting into a watertable, which caused it to leave the road and topple over a bank into a gully. The vehicle fell 50ft., and both the occupants were pinned beneath it. When discovered Mrs. Ennis was dead, having been crushed. Mr. Ennis escaped with severe bruises.
