ARITHMETIC COMPETITION.

Tho arithmetic competition proved the most popular wo have yet had for the boys, over eighty replies being received. Following the usual practice where a large number of correct entries arc sent in, prizes have been awarded to the first two opened after all tho entries had been received. The prize-winners are Colin George Dick, Frankton Junction, and Jack- McManus, Golf Avenue, Otahuhu.
