COLD SCHOOLS.

Sir.—The law compels employers to provide warmth for their assistants in shops and offices. Why does this not apply to schools? I was much surprised to learn from a teacher in one school and a pupil in another that there is no warmth in their schools. Surely school children require warmth as much as shop assistants. Why is it not provided ? L.J.
