GREEK PLAY PERFORMED.

EPSOM GRAMMAR SCHOOL. A successful performance of a Greek play, "Iphigenia in Tauris," was given, bv "girls of the Epsom Grammar School before a crowded audience in Scots Hall last evening. Gilbert Murray's version of Euripides' classic was followed. The girls acquitted themselves with great credit, showing appreciation of the spirit of the ancient Greek drama. The work of the chorus was particularly good and the principals, Misses Chatlin, Shenkin and Andrews, took their parts well. The whole performance was organised by Miss Bruce, elocution mistress, who vras warmly congratulated on the successful issue of her enterprise. The funds are for the improvement of the school recreation grounds and should benefit considerably.
