PRESS association.] GISBORNE, Thursday Five diaries of having received stolen fowls, and one of receiving stolen clothing, were marie against 'an elderly Makese, David Nelson, in the Gisbornc Police Court to-day. The prosecutions are the sequel to recent burglaries. Seventy-five fowls have been missed from various henroosts The evidence alleged that Nelvii had been selling poultry to local dealers. Accused was committed for trial.
