Y In the Supreme Court yesterday, Frank Burge and Oliver Burge were charged that, between March 4 and April 11, at Hastings, with intent to defraud, they attempted to obtain from C. and A. Odlin, of Wellington, £IP9 •by falsely representing that they had supplied that company with 47,350 ft, of timber valued at £648, whereas they had only supplied 35.262 ft., valued at.£4B9. Frank Burge was charged with obtaining £79 from C: and A. Odlin by falsely representing that ho had supplied them with 40,982 ft. of timber, valued at £612, whereas he had suppl cd only 36.307tt., valued at £532. Accused pleaded not guilty. The .case was continued to-day, when the jury found both men not guilty of the charges.
