injuries to pedestrians. STRUCK BY MOTOR-VEHICLES. Injuries to the head and concussion of the brain were sustained bv Mr. Peter Whelan, aged 35, of 14, Ligar Place, Grafton, through being knocked down by a motor vehicle in Symonds Street shortly before one o'clock yesterday afternoon.
