J DUNEDIN, Wednesday While crossing Lower High Street to night Christina Donaldson, a middle-aged woman, was knocked down by a taxi driven by William McKniglit. Her foot was caught in the radius rod, which had to be uncoupled before she could l»o freed. The injured woman is now in hospital, suffering from a scalp wound and injuries t.o her back and one leg. The injuries, as far as is known at present, are not serious.
