PARNELL HOME FIRE.
COMPLETE DESTRUCTION. LARGE AMOUNT OF LINEN LOST. The charred remains of the Salvation Army Women's Industrial Home in Chnrton Street, Parnell, which was demolished by flre on Monday night, presented a desolate picture yesterday morning. Blackened houses in the vicinity also presented a sorry sight. Not a particle of the home escaped the flames and the loss was complete. Particulars of insurance were not available yesterday, owing to the fact that all insurances arte attended tfo at headquarters in Wellington.
