Reductions in the rates of pay ranging from 6d to 2s a-week in all the States except South Australia and Western Australia will" take effect as from August 1 under all the awards of the Commonweath Arbitration Court. . In Melbourne the wage will be 14s a day or £4 7s a Week, in Sydney 14s 5d or £4 9s* 6d, and in Brisbane 12s 7d or £3 18s 6d. . • ■ - No alteration will occur in Adelaide. In Perth there will be an increase of 6d a week.
