HIDDEN TREASURE PUZZLE.

Sir, —This schema seems to mc to be an easy method of making money. Ac. cording to the- results of Hidden Treasure Puzzle, No. 2, published on Saturday, July 23, there are 2330 "winners," arcl assuming there were an equal number of competitors who failed to get 'the 74 names (which I consider is a very low estimate), this would mean an approximate profit of £150.' The promoters say that one -of the "prize" winners (out of the 2330), made a suggestion that the £4O prize money should he handed to the Jubilee Institute for the Blind. X for one would like to know how any competitor could make that suggestion'before the results were published. Further, J may point out that the method saves the promoters the 2330 penny stamps and envelopes necessary for postage. Since the promoters are so "generous" with the £4O prize money I would suggest they go a step further and put in at least an equal amount to the same worthy cause out of their profits. One of " Winkers " of Foubpence.
