PROTEST AGAINST MASS.

CATHEDRAL CELEBRATION.

A protest against the celebration of High Mass was made at the Wakefield Anglican Cathedral recently. During a service a man stood up in the body of the church and said, "I protest against this celebration of mass in the Church of England. You are being robbed of your Reformation privileges." Immediately after this ho left, and the service was proceeded with as if no interruption had taken place. The protester was stated to be a London Baptist minister. The celebrant was the vicar of Wakefield, Canon Macleod, and the preacher was the Rev, H. F. B. Mackay, vicar of All Saints', London.
