TO-MORROW'S ATTRACTIONS. PONSONBY TO PLAY NEWTON. KEEN CONTEST ANTICIPATED. The match between Ponsonby and Newton at Carlaw Park to-morrow afternoon in the Auckland Rugby League's senior grade competition is creating special interest and followers of the code expect a great struggle. In the first round the teams played a drawn game, and since then Newton has shown excellent form and its chances of defeating the present League champions are considered bright. This will be the only A section game played. A curtain-raiser will be played between A and B teams for selection in the junior representative team. The B section games will be continued. At Victoria Park, Northcote will play Point Chevalier, Kingsland will meet Otahuhu at the Domain, and Mangero will plaj- Ellerslie at Mangere.
