NEW GUINEA MURDERS.
EVASION OF THE LAW. ESCAPE OF NATIVE PRISONERS. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, Juno 00. Confirmation has been received of the reported escape of a number of natives who were awaiting trial on charges of murder in New Guinea.
The prisoners escaped while they were in charge of a native warder at the Rabaul gaol. So far they have eluded recapture in the bush.
