BOOTY RECOVERED.
A PRISONER CONFESSES. GANG OF MOTOR THIEVES. LONDON. June 18. A confession by a man serving a sentence in a .London prison has led lo tho recovery of jewellery valued at Irom £2OOO to £3OOO, the booty of an expert gang of West End motor thieves. Detectives watching a house indicated in Aldgate, saw that it was i'requented by mysterious strangers, and, entering at midnight, unearthed suitcases filled with watches, rings, bracelets and brooches behind a dummy wall. They are now combing out suspicious houses in the. East End in' the hope of finding the further proceeds of recent robberies similarly hidden.
