MISSION IN AUSTRALIA. POSSIBILITIES OF THE FUTURE. A. and N.Z. PERTH. June 20. The special mission from the Britisli Air Ministry, the members of which are to investigate the conditions in Australia and New Zealand, has arrived in Australia. The party comprises Group-Captaln Fellowes, Flight-Lieutenant Nixon and Mr. M. A. Giblett, superintendent of the airship section of the British meteorological office. The mission is concerned with Britain's experimental programme for the construction of airships designed to secure quicker communication between the Dominions and the Mother Country. The visitors say it is probable that demonstration flights from England to Australia and New Zealand may take place in 1930 It should ho possible to plan a time-table on the assumption that the regular time for a flight between Australia and England would bo 11 days.
