LOUVAIN UNIVERSITY.
SOLEMN CONSECRATION. BELGIAN ROYALTY PRESENT. (Received June 29, 7.45 p.m.) A. and N.Z.-Sun. BRUSSELS. Juno 28. The solemn consecration hv the Papal Nuncio of the rebuilt Louvain University, which was wrecked during the Great War, took place to-day. The event synchronised with the 500 th anniversary of the university. The Kir/g and Queen of Belgium and many ecclesiastical, civil, and military dignitaries attended the ceremony.
