CROQUET.
THE PAPAKURA CLUB. There was an attendance of 24 members at the annual meeting of the Papakura Croquet. Club. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the retiring president, Mrs. J. Jarvie, for the manner in which she furthered the interests of the club. The following officers were elected:—President,, Miss Cooper: vice-presidents, Mrs. J. Walker and Miss McLennan; secretary. Mrs. H. McEntee, treasurer. Mrs. J. Bates; committee, Mesdames Andrews. Bernasconi, Haughey. Leighton and Hope: green superintendent, Mrs. Bernasconi; delegates to South Suburban Council. Mrs. J. Jarvie and Mrs. H. McEntee.
