It is officially announced that a further attempt to break the non-stop aeroplane flight record .bv reaching India will bo made under the auspices of the British Air Ministry by service pilots this month. The actual date has not yet been definitely fixed, but .the machine to.be used has been selected. This will be a " Hawker-Horsley " aeroplane. similar to the one used by Lieutenants C. R. Carr and L. E. Gillman in their spend id flight last month. : The personnel for the flight has not yet been decided, but the newspapers anticipate that Lieutenant Carr will again pilot the machine. The aeroplane was not specially designed and built for the purpose of this flight, but it is a standard bomber and will when fully loaded weigh about seven tons. Probably the start will be made from the Cranwell Aerodrome in Lincolnshire, as in the case of the recent flight'.
