PENSIONERS IN BRITAIN. SUM OF £725,000,000 SPENT. (Received June 9, 5.5 p.m.) A. and K.Z. LONDON, June 8. A report has bpen issued which shows the position as regards British war pensioners. To the end of March Brftain had spent £725.000 000 in pensions. Hi ere were 1,665.000 beneficiaries, including ,46,000 living overseas. There were still 29,000 officers and men under treatment. The deathrate among disabled pensioners is extraordinarily low, being only 15| per 1000.
