NEW ZEALANDERS AT HOME.
[FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] LONDON. May 7. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred E. Hill and Mi* Pat Stephens (Auckland) -will leave nexs week on a tour of the Continent, aftei which they will visit the Lake District of Great Britain. Mr. E. Phillips-Turner (Secretary of Forestry in New Zealand) and Mrs. Phil-lips-Turner are spending six weeks in Edinburgh, where they are joining their son, Dr. 11. G. Phillips-Turner. Mr. and Mrs. Phillips-Turner expect to leave for ' New Zealand at the end of June. Mr. S. J. Atkins (Auckland and Palmerston North) is leaving for a tour of Holland, Belgium and Germanv. Commander S. E. Thomas, R.N., has begun his duties at Plymouth as assistant to the captain of the dockyard, and assistant King's harbourmaster of the Hamoaze. He last served as fleet navigation officer on the China Station, in the flagship Hawkins, and was formerly navigator of the squadron on the New Zealand station. Surgeon-Commander S. Bradbury, M.8., D.P.H., R.N., who has been apSointed to H.M.S. Dutiedin, joined the loyal Navy in 1908. He is fond of fishing and shooting, and he is looking forward with pleasure to his period of service in New Zealand.
