THE NORTHGOTE PROPOSAL. Tho proposal of tho Norlhcolo Hatnpayors and Rwtidflotn' Association to provide bathing facilities on both eastern ami western beaches watt advanced a further stage last evening. A committee, consisting of Messrs. E. C, Davoy, A. T. Munn, F. Fullbrook nud <T. 11 tin rut, was appointed to wait upon tho various sports bodies it) support of tho organisation of a queen carnival. It is understood tho Borough Council will grant tho use of the necessary sites on both beachos.
