A message from Fairbanks, Alaska, states that fog, which last year prevented the exploration of the " blind spot " in the Arctic Sea, has again proved too great a handicap. Captain G. H. Wilkins, leader of the Detroit Arctic expedition, who had intended to try to fly to Greenland, now announces the cancellation of further attempts this season.
