• EXHIBITION AT WAIUKU. LIST OF PRIZE AWARDS. 1 [bv telegraphs-own CORF.ESPONDENT. ] WAIUKU, Wednesday. 5 The Waiuku Poultry Club's annual ■ show* was held to-day. The entries c totalled close upon 170 birds, and some [ keen competition resulted. The judge, 5 Mr. W. A. Hanson, of Auckland, said ] that in the class for White Leghorn 3 cockerels, which was a large one, it was \ particularly difficult to decide between the five best birds. The best bird in tlio show -was adjudged to be Mr. D. H. Rumbal's Black Orpington cockerel. This exhibit also won the I Newlands Cup for the best utility bird in the show. The Sylvester Cup and " the John Jarvis rose bowl, for the best j fancy bird in the show, were won by Miss C. Ambler, with her Black Minorca hen. r Other special awards were: — ; FANCY CLASSES.
