POLICE COURT NEWS.

TWO CHARGES REMANDED. A charge of forgery was preferred against- William Ernest Kilroy in the Police Court yesterday. It was alleged he had forged the name of W. Wall to endorse a chequ,e drawn by Hardleys, Ltd., on the Commercial Bank of Australia, Ltd., at Newmarket, in favour of W. Wall for £4 19s 6d. Chief-Detective Cummings, in asking for a remand until June 16, said there were other charges pending. The remand was granted, bail being fixed at £SO. Richard Wilfred Williams was charged with stealing £5 14s and £2 16s from the Manukau Sports Club. He was remanded until June 16, bail being fixed at £SO.
