CHURCHES TO BECOME CLUBS
HIGH DIGNITARIES ARRESTED.

The Riga correspondent of the Times says the Ukranian Soviet Government has ordered all Roman Catholic, Jewish" and Orthodox Russian chapeis to be closed. The buildings will be converted into clubs for workers.
In many places funds are being collected for the rebuilding of the churches.
Fifty high church dignitaries and followers of Archbishop Tikhon have been arrested for endeavouring to proclaim a new Patriarch.
