PETTY PILFERING.
SPORTS GROUND TROUBLE. PLAYER'S SUIT STOLEN. Potty pilfering at various sports grounds on Saturday afternoons continues. At the meeting of the Management Committee of the Auckland Football Association last evening, complaints ■were received that players at Victoria Park had been relieved of their spare cash during their absence on the playing field. The chairman, Mr. A. Menzies, stated that he had met a Rugby player on Saturday afternoon who had gone home minus his trousers, coat and vest, through the activities of some lightfingered person. He warned players of the foolishness of leaving clothes and money lying about a football ground. A "Member: Valuables used to disappear from dressing rooms last season while a policeman was standing outside the pavilion door.
