CHOKED BY FALSE TEETH.
CRICKETER'S STRANGE DEATH Mr. W. S. Lyons, a member of ths Doomben Cricket Club, Brisbane, who had gone to Warwick to take part in a match against the local team daring the .Easter holidays, met with a tragic death early one morning. He occupied a room at a hotel with a fellow-member of the team named Bliss. Early in the morning Mr. Bliss, alter conversing -with Sir. Lyons, left his room. On returning he noticed that Sir. Lyons was apparently asleep. He endeavoured to arouse him, but couid not do so. He thereupon summoned assistance. A doctor, -who was called, in, found that Sir. Lyons, who, it is understood, suffered from epileptic fits, had sufto- j cated, his false teeth having lodged in j his throat. The cricket match was ! abandoned, and the body was taken to ; Brisbane by train, on whicbSkmost of the | members of the team travelled. ==========
