SPAHLINGER'S SERUM.
charges by newspaper. FULLER DISCLOSURES DEMANDED. A. and N.Z. LONDOX. May 1. The Daily Express announces the receipt of a letter from Mr. Spahlinger, the founder of the Spahlinger Institute for the treatment of consumptive patients. This is in reply to the paper's challenge concerning the writer's claim to have discovered a cure for consumption. Mr. Spahlinger says that until a letter he wrote to the Express, giving a complete and detailed reply to its charges, and also until further documentary evidence which, he says is in his possession, have been published without alteration, he cannot give an interview. The paper describes this letter as an evasion of the offer it made last week. It says a reasonable summary cf Mr. Spahlmg&r's first letter was published, but it did not contain any proof that he possesses a cure for consumption.
