An explosion occurred in a coalmine near Fairmont, "Virginia, last evening, when 91 men were entombed. After several hours' work by rescue [ parties eight bodies were recovered, and three minors who wore fatally injured were brought to the surface. Little hope is entertained for the 80 men who are still entombed.
