At the close of play on Saturday, Reece had scored 7178 points and Peall 4648 in their billiards match of 15,000 up. Reece was in play with a break of 961, made by his new pendulum stroke. In the final of the professional tournament Newman has scored 8002 and Davis 7652. Newman made breaks of 382, 263, 230 alid 195 (in play), and Davis made 276, 197 and 170. NEW SOUTH WALES TENNIS. May 2. lii the mixed doubles at the State tennis championships Willard and Miss Cox defeated Sciilesinger and Miss Akhurst, 6—4, B—6. In the men's doubles championship Peach and North defeated Sciilesinger and Willard, 6-2, 8-6, 7—9, 4-6, 6—3.
