The kauri gtjrr. export levies have been fixed by the Control Board, according 4T to the Gazette, at iss per cent, of the current f.o.b. export value of the gum daring the period May 1 to October 31 inclusive, and thereafter at the rate of 30s per cent. Tine Gazette »l*o contains an amendment to thp Kauri Gum Control Regulations, providing for the payment to the chairman monthly of a fee at the rate of £250 a year and to members, wbsla engaged on the board's hu&iae&s, fee* at the rate of £2 2s a day each. Alt members are also to receive actual travelling expenses plus an allowance ol 25* a day tor personal espeiuffli.
