WRONG SEIZURE ADMITTED. VESSEL TO BE RELEASED. (-Received May 1, 5.5 p.m..) A & N.Z.-San. SaN FRANCISCO. Apl. 30. Hie Canadian owners of the vessel Federalship have brought an action in the District Court seeking to ascertain why the Government should not release th<« vessel and her cargo of liquor sn view of the recent decision that the seizure was illegal. The action was adjourned for one week. Die United States attorney, Mr. Hatfield, announced to-day that the Federal Government officials were aware that the seizure of the Federalship was illegal. The Customs coastguard will release the ship next week.
