CHILD'S SUDDEN DEATH.
TRAGEDY AT SOUTHAMPTON. (Received April -25, 5.5 p.m.) A. and N.Z.-Sun. LONDON, April 24. While a widow named Mrs. Taken, of Sunderland; was waiting on the quay at Southampton to embark in the Corinthic for New Zealand, her youngest child, aged three, died in her arms. The child had been ailing, but was pronounced fit to travel. Mrs. Taken has cancelled her-passage^
