THE TOFUA. The Union Company's Island steamer Tofua sailed on Saturday evening for Fiji, Samoa and Tonga. She is due back at Auckland on May 16. MAUNGANUI FROM SYDNEY. With passengers, mail and cargo from byduey, the Union Company's intercolonial steamer Maunganui is due at Auckland at seven o'clock this morning. She will barth at Queen's Wharf at out an hour later. RUAPEHU'S DEPARTURE POSTPONED. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the departure of the Ruapehu from Wellington for Southampton and .London has been postponed until 5 p.m.. on Saturday, April 30. instead of on Friday. April 29. DIOMEDE AND NUCULA H.M S. Diomede and the Admiralty oil tanker Nucula sailed from Suva on Saturday for Auckland- The Diomede is due at eight o'clock to-morrow morning and the Nucula is expected, later in the day. KIA ORA FOR FINAL LOADING. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Kin Ora is due at daybreak to-day from Wellington to complete loading for New York, ' Boston. Halifax and London. She will berth at Central Wharf. A. S. Paterson and Company are the local agents. TONGARIRO DUE TO-DAY. From London, via Suva, the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tongariro will reach Auckland at six o'clock this morning, according to her wireless report. She will unload a quantity of general merchandise at Prince's Wharf, and the remainder of her cargo at Wellington. R.M.S. AORANGI IN PORT. A generally fine weather voyage was experienced by the Rovnl Mail liner Aorangi, which reached Auckland from Vancouver, Honolulu and Suva on Sunday evening. After landing passengers, mail and cargo for New Zealand at Prince's Wliarf, she is to resume her voyage to Sydney at ten o'clock to-night. MAKURA FOR SAN FRANCISCO. Having left Sydney a day behind schedule the Royal Mail liner Makuia is due, at Wellington at daybreak to-day. She ia to- resume her voyage to Raro tonga, Papeete and San Francisco at nine o'clock this evening. WEST CONOB REPORTED. A wireless message from the American >steamer West Conob states she will arrive from San Pedro to-morrow morning. The vessel has lumber, case oil and general cargo from Pacific Coast ports. She will berth at King's Wharf. From Auckland she will fro to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Henderson and Maofarlane are the local agents. . SEAMAN INJURED ON IHUMATA. The Lamb steamer Ihumata, en route from Newcastle to Gisborne, put into Auckland on Saturday morning to land a seaman who was. struck by a sea and severely injured during stormy weather. The mail was taken to the hospital, and the steamer resumed her voyage shortly after mid-day. RARANGA TO LOAD. A. S. Paterson and Company, Ltd., advise that the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Raranga is due at Auckland from Nelson on May 3 to load produce and genera! cargo for England. She will also load at Napier, Wanganui and Wellington. On May 19 she ia to be despatched from Wellington for 'London. CUMBERLAND ARRIVED. With a full cargo ox general merchandise from Newport (Monmouthshire). A von mouth, Glasgow and Liverpool, the Federal Line steamer Cumberland arrived on bunday morning. The vessel berthed at Queen s Wharf to unload a large quantity of cargo for Auckland. The remainder is for Napier, Wellington. Lyttelton and Port Chalmers.
