FRANKLIN CLUB'S MEETING. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] PUKEKOHE, Sunday. The newly-formed Franklin Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club held its first sports meeting yesterday afternoon in the Pukekohe Domain in conjunction with a seven-a-side football competition under the auspices of the Pukekohe Rugby Union. There was a fairly large attendance, but rain set in soon after the start and made conditions unpleasant. Results ol! the various events were as follows: IOOYds Boys' Handicap.—J. Hogan. 1: C. F. Duder, 2; C. O. James and A. Scott (dnad heat), 3 One Mile Cycle Handicap (open).—Faithful, 1; Raynor, 2; Michie, 3. IOOYds Handicap (open).—Hogan, 1: Wyatt, 2. Footballers' Race.—S. Crolhy, 1; Lawrie. 2; R. Graham, 3. 880 Yds Handicap.—Maxwell, 1; McCormiclc. 2; Taylor, 3. Eight teams competed in the »even-a-sido tournament. "Wesley College defeated Pukekohe Technical High School in the final by 13 points to 3.
