THE PLAYERS FOR TRAINING.
The following League . football . players have been selected to go into training with a view to choosing teams to represent Auckland and New Zealand in* the opening match of the season:— Auckland.—Hanlon (Richmond). Littlewood, List, Wade, Little, Prentice, Riley, Wetherall, Peckham, Davis, O'Brien (Marist), Townsend, O'Brien (Devonport), St. George, A. Scott, Clarke (.Newton), Dixon, Hutt. Payne, New Zealand.— Dufty, Gregory. Brown. Davidson, Delgrosso, Brisbane, Cole, Webb, Wilson-Hall, Kirwan, Avery, Gardiner. Parkes, Herring. Menzies. Mason. Any player who is ' likely to be unavailable is requested to notify Mr. E. Asher immediately.
