CHURCH SERVICE IN HOTEL.
Robed clergy and choristefs took par' in a service in the yard of a Woodbridga, Suffolk, hotel recently before the distribution of bread under a charity bequest ovßr 200 years ago. The testator, Thomas Carlow, stipulated thai the leaves should not be .distributed on a Saturday, but On or near February 2. One of the conditions under which land** lords of the hotel have since held i-J® licence is that- they should be responsible for the observance of the annual distribution.
