FRENCH MATCH BILL.
FINANCE COMMITTEE VOTE. MEMBERS' EQUALLY DIVIDED. (Received April 7, 10.30 p.m.) A. and Ts.Z. PARIS, Aoril 6. In spite of the insistence of the Premier and Finance Minister, >M. Poincare, on the necessity for the measure, the voting in the Finance Committee of the Chamber on the proposed cession to a company of the State match monopoly resulted iu a tie. Thus it is left to M. Poincare to decide whether to bring the proposal before the Chamber or not.
